I still cannot come to grips with why NJ and Mass would be willign to potentially lower our stnadards to those that the Deep South could perform with. Do you know if we are getting federal funding for joining this program which I believe we would have to be one of the stronger individual state's when it comes to educational performance?
I am still questioning why these things and major educational issues are not open forum for all teachers? If I did not go to class, I would not know about this. Why are we always in the dark and having our careers run by others who are no where near education and "what is best for the students"?
